ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Supreme Court has ordered the government to allow former Prime Minister Imran Khan's party, the PTI, to hold a rally in the capital Islamabad, according to Khabar The News International. The Pakistan Supreme Court on Wednesday (May 25) allowed the PTI to hold rallies in the H-9 and G-9 areas of the federal capital. The court said a discussion between the government and PTI should be held at the chief commissioner's office at 10pm today (Wednesday). The court directed the Deputy Commissioner, Home Secretary and Inspector-General Islamabad to arrange a meeting for this purpose. The court observed that any new clause should be included in the agreement through mutual consultation and the court should also be informed about it. The court said the arrested political leaders and activists of PTI should be released immediately.
