Mobile court in Bogra fines food manufacturing companies including filling stations

It is learned that two food producing companies and one filling station were fined in a raid in Bogra's Shajahanpur Upazila from Monday afternoon till 8.30 pm led by Executive Magistrate and AC Land (Assistant Commissioner-Land) Ashiq Khan of Shajahanpur. Junaid Ahmed, Inspector (CM Wing) of BSTI office in Bogra and Md. Mohammad Ali, Assistant Director (Metrology Wing) of the same office acted as prosecutors in the mobile court. Mizanur Rahman. During the campaign, Messrs. 'Bhai Bhai Daighar' had been producing and selling yoghurt in Jamadarpukur area of ​​Shajahanpur Upazila for a long time. In the same area, another company called 'Messrs. Palak Auto Muri Mill' was producing Mudi. These two institutions did not have BSTI quality certificate. Food was also being produced in unhealthy environment at both the establishments. The two companies were fined Tk 80,000 during the operation. Of this, a fine of Tk 10,000 was imposed on the yoghurt producing company and Tk 50,000 was imposed on the murdi producing company. In another operation, Messrs. Farhan filling station in Nine Mile area of ​​the same upazila was fined Tk 1 lakh. There was less petrol-diesel measure. 160 per 10 liters of petrol and 60 mm less for the same amount of diesel. BSTI officer engineer Junaid Ahmed said the raids were carried out at two institutions and one filling station in one day on the basis of specific allegations. Such campaigns will continue in the public interest. Members of the law enforcement forces were present during the operation.
