5 killed in building collapse in Iran

At least five people have been killed when a commercial building under construction collapsed in the southwestern Iranian city of Abadan. Another 60 people are trapped under the rubble. An AFP report quoted the country's state TV on Monday (May 23rd). The city's regional governor, S Ehsan, said 28 people had been injured in the building collapse, some in critical condition. The owner of the building and the project manager of the construction company have been arrested. The locals are cooperating to donate blood to the injured. The collapsed building is located on a busy Abadan road. There are lots of commercial buildings, hospitals and various departments.
