Three people were injured in a lightning strike in Kurigram

Kurigram Correspondent: Three persons named Golapi Begum (42), Nurul Amin Qari (6) and Rahena Begum (6) were injured in a lightning strike at Ulipur in Kurigram. The injured have been admitted to Kurigram Sadar Hospital as their condition is critical. It is learned that the three persons were seriously injured in a hailstorm while drying paddy at Namarchar village in East Darichar village of Dhamshreni union of the upazila on Saturday noon. Later, the locals rescued the injured and took them to the Upazila Health Complex. As their condition was critical, they were sent to Kurigram Sadar Hospital for better treatment. Local UP member Abdur Razzak confirmed the incident.
