One died while breaking a branch while picking mangoes

Mostafizur, Rahman Lalmonirhat: A teenager named Abu Taher Likhan (14) died after falling from a mango tree in Aditmari upazila of Lalmonirhat district. He died at Rangpur Medical College Hospital on Friday night (May 20) He is the son of Abdul Hai of Nityananda village. . Two others were injured in the incident and were admitted to hospital. Two friends, including Likhan, were injured when a branch fell on a tree in Nityananda village of Palashi union of the upazila yesterday afternoon. According to police and local sources, three friends, including Likhan, were growing mangoes in a tree next to the house. Suddenly a branch broke and another friend including Likhan and Habibur fell to the ground. Later the locals rescued them and admitted them to Rangpur Medical College Hospital. Likhan died on Friday night while undergoing treatment there. Aditmari Thana Officer-in-Charge Moktarul Islam confirmed the incident.
