Bogra Correspondent: Bogra's Adamdighi police have arrested Masud Rana alias Bhola, 48, a fugitive accused in a murder and theft case after 13 years. The arrested is the son of Rakim Uddin of Uthrail village in Santahar UP of Bhola upazila. He was sent to jail on Sunday afternoon. Earlier, he was arrested from the banks of river Haripur (embankment) of Baktarpur UP in Naogaon Sadar upazila around 11pm on Saturday. Adamdighi Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jalal Uddin said a murder and theft case was registered against Masud Rana alias Bhola in 2003. He was arrested in the same year in a murder case and was in jail till 2006. He was released on bail in early 2009 and went into hiding. He and his wife and children were living in the embankment area of ​​Haripur Jamuna river in Baktarpur UP of Naogaon Sadar upazila. He used to make a living by driving a van in disguise there. He further said that on the basis of secret information, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Adamdighi Police Station Abu Hassan conducted an operation with the accompanying force and arrested him on Saturday night. He has been sent to jail through the court.
