News Desk: An inspector of the Dhaka Department of Inspection and Audit has been accused of taking half a crore rupees from the salaries of 200 teachers and staff in the name of ministry audit.
Sylvia Ferdous, assistant director of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) head office, and Md. A team consisting of Abul Kalam Azad conducted the operation. The enforcement team inspected the education building on the spot. In the absence of the acting director, there was a discussion with the joint director Bipul Chandra Sarkar about the complaint.
The ACC team will collect records in this regard, verify whether any kind of bribe has been paid and submit a detailed report to the commission. The ACC Enforcement Unit on Thursday took action on six complaints. According to the public relations department of the organization, there were 3 campaigns in it.
