This time the new primary class routine is published

News Desk: Government Primary School will open on 12th May. The Department of Elementary Education (DPE) has issued seven instructions for younger students, including daily pre-class rallies.

The directive was issued on Monday (May 9) night.

The instructions are-

(1) In one shift schools, Saturday to Wednesday from 9:00 am to 3:15 pm and Thursday to 2:25 pm (1st and 2nd class from 1:30 am to 1:00 pm and 3rd, 4th and 5th class from 9:00 am to 3:15 pm ) Classroom teaching activities will continue.

(2) In two shift schools, Saturday to Wednesday from 9am to 4pm and Thursday to 2.30pm (1st and 2nd class from 9am to 11:50 am and 3rd, 4th and 5th class from 11:30 am to 4pm) Classroom teaching activities will continue.

(3) Pre-primary class activities in schools with one shift will be from Saturday to Thursday from 9:30 am to 12 noon and in schools with two shifts from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.

(4) Schools with one shift should conduct daily assembly from 9 am to 9:25 am and schools with two shifts from 11:30 am to 11:50 am.

(5) The headmaster shall prepare the routine with the priority of the subject trained teachers and get the approval of the Assistant Upazila or Thana Education Officer of the concerned cluster.

(6) The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has been asked to follow the previous class routine in the teaching schedule of primary schools in Dhaka metropolis.

(6) Appropriate steps should be taken to fill the learning deficit.

The DPE has been asked to implement these instructions till further orders.
