This time bean is also a century with eggplant

News Desk: Eggplant, which had grown abnormally before Ramadan, is still being sold at Rs 100 per kg. With this, beans are being sold at one hundred rupees per kg. In addition to these two vegetables, all other types of vegetables are being sold at high prices. There is no vegetable below 40 rupees in the market now.

On Friday (April 15), various markets in the capital were visited and traders were selling eggplants at Rs 80 to Rs 100 per kg. Eggplant has been sold at this price since the beginning of Ramadan. And before Ramadan, eggplant was 20 to 40 rupees per kg.

Caravan market trader said about the unusual increase in the price of eggplant. Helal said the demand for eggplant increases every year during Ramadan. This time too he was no exception. Eggplant prices have risen due to increased demand. Our idea is that the price of eggplant will go down after Ramadan.

Although the price of eggplant is 100 rupees per kg due to the effect of rosacea, now beans are being sold at the highest price in the market. Traders are selling 100 to 120 rupees per kg of beans. A few days ago, the price of bean was 60 rupees per kg.

Rampura trader Joynal Mia said the reason for the high price of beans was that the bean season was over. The beans that are coming in the market now are specially cultivated. These beans are coming in small quantities in the market. Since there is less supply in the market, it is normal that the price will be higher.

Meanwhile, the price of cucumber has gone down due to the heat of Ramadan. Cucumbers, which were sold at Rs 60-70 per kg last week, are now being sold at Rs 30-40 per kg.

Although the price of cucumber has come down, other vegetables have remained unchanged. Patal is being sold at Rs 50-60 per kg, barbati at Rs 60-70 and potato at Rs 50-60. Pieces of laurel are being sold for 50 to 60 rupees. Red spinach seeds are being sold for 10 to 15 rupees and spinach seeds are being sold for 10 to 15 rupees.

Sajna's data is being sold at 60 to 70 rupees per kg like last week. Ripe tomatoes are being sold at 30 to 40 rupees per kg. Papaya is being sold at 40 to 50 rupees per kg, raw banana hali is being sold at 30 to 40 rupees. Karla is being sold for 60 to 70 rupees per kg. The prices of these vegetables have remained unchanged during the week.

Caravan market trader said about the price of vegetables. Heart said winter vegetables are not available in the market now. Since there are no winter vegetables, there is naturally less supply in the market. This is the main reason why the price of vegetables is higher now. Until the winter vegetables come again, you have to buy and eat vegetables at that price.

Meanwhile, the fish market has been visited, the price of fish has not changed much during the week. Rui fish is being sold at 300 to 450 rupees per kg. Hilsa fish weighing one kg is being sold for 1300 to 1800 rupees. Tilapia, pangas fish is being sold at 160 to 180 rupees per kg. Horn fish is being sold at 300 to 480 rupees per kg. Rock fish is being sold for 400 to 600 rupees per kg.

Like fish, prices of chicken and beef remain unchanged. Traders are selling broiler chickens at 180 to 185 rupees per kg as before. Golden chicken is being sold at 300 to 310 rupees per kg. And beef is being sold at 750 to 800 rupees per kg like last week.
