News Desk: Negative politics is a big obstacle in the development of a country, said the Minister of Information and Broadcasting and the joint general secretary of the Awami League. Hassan Mahmud.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural function of Astha Feed Mill at Dhandibazar in Sonargaon, Narayanganj on Friday (April 1) evening.

Dr. Hasan Mahmud said that the way the country is moving forward today under the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Awami League government is being appreciated all over the world. UN Secretary General praises, US President Joe Biden praises. The World Health Organization is praising the way Bangladesh has dealt with the Corona situation. The President of India, the Prime Minister praised. Today, Bangladesh has surpassed Pakistan in many ways in all indices. We have recently surpassed India in economic indicators, especially per capita income. But sadly, many people do not see this development in our eyes. He said, every day the BNP speaks, they do not see anything. With so much development in the country, the per capita income of the people has increased and today it is not seen that it has surpassed India. Does not see any development. He also said that there is no development in the country, after a few days they will cross the Padma bridge. We are sitting for what to say next. Because they said, we can't build Padma bridge. This is negative politics, saying 'no' in all cases is a major obstacle to the development of the country.

The Information Minister said the whole world is appreciating the way Bangladesh is moving forward today. The BNP cannot be praised, and if you listen to the talk show on television after 12 o'clock at night, you will think that there has been no development in Bangladesh in the last 13 years. We could have gone a long way in industrial development if it were not for this negative politics.

He further said that Bangladesh is self-sufficient in poultry food, Bangladesh does not import poultry food. When India closed the border, anxiety spread among our people. The reality is that our cattle farms and cattle and goat production have increased since the border was closed.
