Bashemurabiprabi in the list of 11th best university in the country

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (BASHEMURBIPRABI) has been ranked 11th among the science and technology universities of the country in the web metrics survey of Madrid-based educational and research institute of higher education.

This information has been given in the 19th edition of the recently published web metrics based in Madrid, the capital of Spain.

Among all the science and technology universities in the country, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology of Sylhet is in the first place, Ahsan Ullah University of Science and Technology is in the second place and Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology is in the third place.

In addition, public-private universities and medical colleges are ranked 7th in the country and 9724th in the world.

In this regard, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. AQM Mahbub said, "Our university started its journey much later than other renowned science and technology universities of the country, but it is still in the top 11th position in the country." It is a great pleasure for us. Already many teachers and students of our university are now doing world class research. Hopefully overall we will go further.
