News Desk: US-Bangla Airlines has decided to operate daily flights from Dhaka to Kolkata, India instead of two days a week from March 26. The decision to increase the number of flights was taken due to additional passenger demand.
This information was given in a press release of the organization.
US-Bangla Airlines operates flights to Kolkata with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, the statement said. The US-Bangladesh fleet currently has a total of 16 aircraft, including 6 Boeing 737-800 and 6 ATR 72-600 aircraft.
Apart from Kolkata, US-Bangla operates international routes to Chennai, Male, Sharjah, Dubai, Muscat, Doha, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Guangzhou. The bank said it plans to operate flights to the destination bank soon due to Covid.
The company also plans to operate flights to Colombo, Delhi, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Medina in the near future.
