Students do not want to take so many exams - Education Minister Dipu Moni in Lalmonirhat

Mostafizur Rahman, Lalmonirhat: Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni has said, ‘Students have only classes and classes all the time. All the time testing. Being immersed in coaching all the time. We want to get out of this culture. I want to make the study enjoyable for the students. That's why I don't want students to take so many exams. '

The minister added that the number of student exams in the developed world is less. At the end of the speech, the Minister recited Syed Shamsul Haque's poem 'Jago bahe konthe sagay' written about the leader of Tebhaga movement Nuruldin.

Education Minister Dipu Moni said this while addressing a function as the chief guest on the occasion of Bangabandhu's birth centenary and Independence Day celebrations at Kakina North Bangla College in Kaliganj upazila of Lalmonirhat on Sunday afternoon.

Lalmonirhat-2 MP and Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed also spoke in the presidency of the Vice Chancellor of the National University. Mashiur Rahman, Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner Abu Jafar, Lalmonirhat District Awami League General Secretary and District Council Chairman Matiar Rahman, the founder of North Bangla College, Professor. Mozammel Haque, the principal of the college Abdur Rauf Sarkar, the heroic freedom fighter Gerila leader journalist. Shafiqul Islam Kanu and student Tanvira bint Wahab.

The education minister further said, "According to the policy, any educational institution will be eligible for MPO without any recommendation." There is no chance of MPO registration in any leader, minister or any other way now. Therefore, those educational institutions which fail to fulfill the conditions of the policy, will not get MPO registration in any way. He called upon all to fulfill the conditions in the light of the MPO registration policy.

He added, ‘Universities are now being set up in districts. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University has also been established in Lalmonirhat. So from now on Honors and Masters will not be taught in mass. The government is thinking about these issues. Because, in keeping pace with the developed world, we are trying to take education forward. '

Earlier, the two ministers laid the foundation stone of three multi-storey buildings on the college premises. These are student and a student hostel, an academic building. Guru Nanak of North Bengal College visited various activities of the college including library and computer lap. The Education Minister then left Lalmonirhat by road for a function at Dinajpur Haji Danesh University of Science and Technology.
