Proshenjit, eldest son of Palash Chandra Mahato and Qazli Rani Mahato of Bhatarpara village in Desigram union of Tarash upazila of Sirajganj.

My father used to be able to earn money, but now he has a stroke and is paralyzed on the right side of his body. Housewife Mao has been suffering from kidney problems for a long time. The family has to struggle to provide their medicine and meet their daily expenses. Although he grew up in a poor family, Prosenjit was always ahead in his studies. He has done well in PEC, JSC, SSC and HSC examinations. In the 2018-19 session, he was admitted in the Department of Agriculture, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology, Gopalganj.

Prosenjit's parents were worried about the cost of their child's higher education in a world where they could not afford to bring salt. In addition to the upbringing of four children, the cost of education is also a liability. Meanwhile, Prosenjit's dream of higher education seemed to have made a miserable chapter of his life miserable. Even when he was admitted to the university, his dream of higher education was coming to an end due to financial problems. They came forward to fulfill the dream of Prosenjit University by providing cash along with accommodation.

Earlier, on February 10, a news item was published in various newspapers with the headline 'Student's education will be stopped due to lack of funds'. Later, in the eyes of the university administration, they actually promised all possible help.

Expressing happiness, Prosenjit said, "I was very worried about my studies due to financial difficulties in the family." I thought this journey would end here. The dream of higher education will no longer be fulfilled. In this situation, the university administration has come forward to keep my studies going. I sincerely thank everyone involved.

Director of Student Counseling and Guidance. Md. Sharafat Ali said Prosenjit submitted a written application for financial assistance. Later, five thousand rupees in cash was given subject to official discussion with our Student Welfare Fund Committee. We will continue to be with Prosenjit in the future.

Dean and Chairman of the Faculty of Agriculture (Acting) said. Md. Mozahar Ali said, we have a written request about him. Moreover, the financial condition of the department is not good. Even then we will come forward from a humanitarian point of view.

Student Welfare Fund Committee Vice-Chancellor Prof. AQM Mahbub said the university administration is always determined to stand by the helpless students. We were able to help Prosenjit a bit. However, the relevant department also has a role to play.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Fayekuzzaman, Provost of Sheikh Russell Hall and teacher of Accounting and Information Systems Department has arranged accommodation for Prosenjit on his own initiative. "Every student is our child," he said. It is our responsibility to stand by them in times of danger. I will not let Prosenjit lose for money.
