News Desk: The cabinet department has issued instructions that no more than 100 people can attend any event due to the increase in the transmission of new type of coronavirus Omicron in the country.

On Friday (January 21), the Cabinet Division issued six emergency directives, including this one. The instructions are- 1. All schools and colleges will be closed from January 21 (Friday) to February 8 2. Universities will take similar measures in their respective fields 3. State / social / political / religious gatherings / ceremonies cannot be attended by more than 100 people. Those who join in these cases must bring Vaccine Certificate / PCR Certificate within 24 hours. 4. Officers and employees in public and private offices and factories must obtain a vaccine certificate. The concerned authorities will bear the responsibility in this regard 5. Masks must be used in all kinds of public gatherings including markets, mosques, bus stands, launch docks, railway stations. The administration / law enforcement will monitor the matter. . The matter will be monitored by the local administration and law enforcement agencies.

On January 10, the Cabinet Division issued a notification with 11 restrictions as the transmission of coronavirus including new type of Omicron was on the rise. Which has been effective all over the country since 13th January. The Omicron variant has been making eyes water since the beginning of the new year. Over the last few days, the daily corona infection in the country has suddenly started increasing. Since the onset of the epidemic, a total of 16 lakh 53 thousand 182 corona patients have been identified in the country. The virus has killed 26,160 people. A total of 15 lakh 54 thousand 845 people have recovered from the victims.
