News Desk: The Ministry of Education is not thinking about closing down educational institutions right now on the issue of coronavirus. Education Minister Dipu Moni said this. He was responding to a question from reporters after a session of the DC Conference at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Tuesday.

"We are monitoring the situation," he said. I will sit in a meeting with the National Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19 in 2-1 days.

"I want to deal with it as normal as possible," he said. However, if it is not possible to take classes in the educational institution due to the increase in corona infection, then you have to go to the online class. We are still running online class-assignments so that no one is left behind. However, where online classes are not possible, assignments will continue.

Dipu Moni said, "In the case of corona infection, we see how many tests are being done and how many of them are positive." Many people are taking Omicron lightly. However, it should not be forgotten that the number of deaths and injuries in Delta variant is more than Omicron in our country. So we have to be health conscious.

At the time, he said, up to Monday, 75 lakh students aged 12-18 had received the first dose of corona vaccine.
