4 Rohingya terrorists arrested with weapons from Ghumdhum hill

Jabed Iqbal Chowdhury, Cox's Bazar: RAB-15 recovered a large quantity of illegal arms and ammunition in a raid on Ghumdhum hill in Naikhyangchhari upazila near Ukhia in Cox's Bazar. Meanwhile, four Rohingyas have been arrested for being involved in arms smuggling.

The operation was carried out on Friday (January 6) morning. Abu Salam Chowdhury, media officer of RAB-15, said the operation was carried out after learning about the location of the terrorists in the hills of Ghumdhum Rubber Garden near the Kutupalong Rohingya camp. Several foreign pistols and six home-made weapons were recovered while they were buried in the ground.

Mohammad Nur (32), son of Ashuk Zaman of Block-A / 3 of Kutupalong Camp No. 1, Nazumullah (34), son of Imam Hossain, Khairul Amin (19), son of Abdus Sabur of the same camp and Chaidul Islam, son of Chaidul Islam of Block F / 2 of Tajnimarkhola Camp 13 Aman Ullah (23) was arrested.
