Those who won the UP election in Sherpur

Sherpur District Representative: In the fifth phase, the winners have been declared as winners in 6 UPs of Jhenaigati upazila of Sherpur and one UP of Sreevardi sub-district. Among them 3 Awami League nominees and 5 independent candidates have won. Prior to this, from 8 am to 4 pm, a total of 1 lakh 56 thousand 1 hundred and 70 voters of UP exercised their voting right.

Four chairman candidates, 36 general member candidates and 11 reserved women member candidates are contesting in Khariyaka Jirchar UP of Sreevardi. On the other hand, 42 candidates are contesting for the post of chairman, 273 for the post of general member and 109 for the post of reserved women member in UP, Jhenaigati.

The winners in 6 UPs of Jhenaigati are Shahadat Hossain (boat) in Jhenaigati Sadar Union, Mozammel Haque (Boat) in Malijhikanda Union, Shafiqul Islam (Motorcycle) in Dhanshail Union, Jahangir Alam in Hatibandha Union Rukunuzzaman Zaman (Motorcycle) in Islam Palash (Spectacles) and Nalkura Union Meanwhile, Kelachar in Sreevardi has emerged victorious with the Dulal Mia (boat) symbol in UP.
