As a result of continuous increase in prices, the price of broiler chicken has gone up to Tk 200 per kg. Along with broiler chickens, the price of golden chickens has also gone up in the last one week.

However, the prices of most vegetables remained unchanged. Of course, all kinds of vegetables are being sold at very high prices in the winter season full of vegetables. On Friday (December 31), traders in various markets in the capital were seen selling broiler chickens at Tk 195 to Tk 200 per kg, up from Tk 160 to 185 last week. And four weeks ago it was 150 to 155 rupees. Besides broiler chickens, prices of Pakistani cock or golden chicken have also gone up. Traders are selling golden chicken at Tk 300 to 340 per kg, up from Tk 290 to 300 last week.

And three weeks ago it was 250 to 260 rupees. Ripe tomatoes and carrots are on the list to remain unchanged. Like last week, ripe tomatoes are being sold at 40 to 60 rupees per kg. And carrots are being sold at 40 to 50 rupees per kg. Besides, a kilo of barb is being sold for 50 to 60 rupees. Mulberry is being sold at 30 to 40 rupees per kg, shawl wheat (whole copy) at 30 to 40 rupees per kg, red bean at 10 to 15 rupees and radish bean at 10 to 15 rupees. And spinach seeds are being sold for 15 to 20 rupees. Their prices have also remained unchanged at weekly intervals. Turning to the fish market, it has been seen that Rui fish is being sold at 300 to 450 rupees per kg. Killed fish is being sold at the same price. Horn and taki fish are being sold at 250 to 350 rupees per kg.

Shoal fish is being sold at 600 to 750 rupees per kg. Tilapia and pangasius fish are being sold at 150 to 160 rupees per kg. The prices of these fish have remained unchanged during the week. Hilsa fish weighing one kg is being sold for one thousand to one thousand 200 rupees. Small hilsa fish is being sold for 500 to 600 rupees per kg. Tube fish is being sold at 180 to 200 rupees per kg. Shrimp is being sold at 600 to 750 rupees per kg. The prices of these fish did not change during the week.
