Chapainawabganj Correspondent: In Chapainawabganj district, 80 percent books have reached at secondary level and 100 percent at primary level. In the hope of getting new books on the first day of the new year, the students are counting the days to get ready for the book festival. In 2022, 33 lakh 55 thousand 3 hundred and eight new books will be distributed at secondary and primary level. According to the District Secondary Education Office, the demand for books at the secondary level was 16 lakh 52 thousand 640. As of December 23, about 71 percent of the secondary level books have arrived.

On the other hand, the demand for submissions was 4,41,085, books came in 74 per cent and the demand for books in Ebtedayi was 2 lakh 5 thousand, books came in full. In addition, 30,600 books were received against the demand of SSC Vocational and 70 books were received against the demand of 910 books in Dakhil Vocational and 12,748 books were received against the demand of trade. District Secondary Education Officer Md. Abdur Rashid said, there are still books left.

However, the rest of the book will come. At the same time, sending books to schools is in the final stage. There is no book festival on the first day of the year, but students will be given new books in their respective schools. According to the District Primary Education Office, the demand for pre-primary, primary level and ethnic books was 10 lakh 12 thousand 573.

So far 64 percent of the books have come. Of these, 1 lakh 12 thousand 650 books came against 3 lakh 63 thousand 400 books in Shibganj, 2 lakh 19 thousand 450 books against 2 lakh 98 thousand 900 in Chapainawabganj Sadar, 1 lakh 12 thousand 750 books against 1 lakh 53 thousand 30 books in Gomstapur and 1 lakh 12 thousand 650 books in Nachole. Out of 1 lakh 9 thousand 20 books, 71 thousand 705 books have come and in Bholahat, 49 thousand 600 books have come against the demand of 6 thousand 900. In addition, there are 1,585 books for ethnic groups, Buddhists and Christians in grades 1 to 5, and 626 books for pre-primary and primary level. District Primary Education Officer Md. Saiful Islam said that 100 percent books have reached other schools including 805 primary schools of the district against the demand of books.
