Another 182 people were hospitalized due to dengue in the country and died

News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 182 people have been admitted to hospitals in the country due to dengue. Among them, 143 have been admitted to various government and private hospitals in the capital Dhaka and 39 to various hospitals outside Dhaka. At the same time, two more people have died of dengue at this time.

The department said most of the dengue patients admitted to the hospital and those who died were residents of the capital.

This information was given in the regular dengue report of the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Tuesday (October 12) afternoon.

According to the report, at present, the total number of patients admitted in various government and private hospitals in the country stands at 917 people. There are 742 people admitted in 41 government and private hospitals in Dhaka and 184 people are admitted in different hospitals of other departments.

According to the report, a total of 20,517 patients have been admitted to the hospital from January 1 this year to today (October 12). Among them 19,522 patients have recovered and left the hospital. Dengue has killed 80 people at this time.
