Punishment should be given so that no one dares to do so in future: Prime Minister

News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the perpetrators of the Comilla incident will be given appropriate punishment. He said that such punishment should be given so that no one would dare to do so in future. The Prime Minister said this while virtually joining Ganobhaban in the autumn Durga Puja Mahanbami program organized by the Mahanagar Sarvajanin Puja Committee at Dhakeshwari Mandir on Thursday.

The Prime Minister said, "We are taking action in case of any incident. We are in constant touch." Appropriate steps are being taken in this regard. They will be found wherever such incidents take place. We've done it in the past, and we can do it. Appropriate punishment must be given to them. Punishment should be given in such a way that no one would dare to do it in the future.

Sheikh Hasina said, "We want all of you to be well." Awami League is a people's party. The Awami League was created for the welfare of the people.

The head of government said, I will request you again, never think of yourself as a minority. We are not your minority, we consider you as our relatives.
