JOB Correspondent: For the second day in a row, semester final examinations have been held in all the institutes and departments of Jagannath University (JU). Satisfied students even though the exam was taken on Saturday holiday.

University buses with students also enter the campus at the scheduled time on the second day as on the first day. However, due to missing the bus, many people are delayed to enter the examination hall. But their test time was not extended.

The campus has been abuzz with students since Saturday morning. In the cafeteria of the university, the students used to hang out. All in all, after a long time, that famous and lively festival came back to the courtyard of Jagannath University.

This morning and in the afternoon, almost all the departments and institutes of the university started taking physical examinations. University Treasurer and Vice-Chancellor (routine responsibilities) Professor. Kamaluddin Ahmed visited the examination halls of various institutes and departments.

During this time, he advised to follow all kinds of health rules considering the corona virus (Covid-19) situation during the test.

Many others including the chairman of the chemistry department and the departmental teachers of different departments were present during the inspection of the examination hall.

Meanwhile, AKM Akhtaruzzaman, examination controller of the university, said that there is an examination of almost one batch of any department almost every day except Friday. In order to take a quick test, the deans have discussed and made a routine in this way.

Students are also happy to take the test quickly.

“We were out of exams for a long time, even though there were classes online,” said Ajmeri Sultana, a chemistry student. But we couldn’t get up next year. Which has adversely affected our careers. We want to finish the test quickly and implement our future plans.

Sohanur Rahman, a student in the statistics department of the university, said the university was closed for a year after he was admitted to the university. Then the long wait of a year and a half. I have missed so many days. It is a great pleasure to be back on campus through the exams.

Farhana Rupa, a student at the university's Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, said she was happy to be back at the university after a long absence. Besides, we are also in a lot of fear. If the educational activities are normal, I should be at the very end of my third year. There are now only the first semester final exams of the second year.

University teachers and students are also facing new challenges in overcoming the crisis of long breaks. There is the pressure of session jam. Moreover, JOB students from all over the country have come to the campus again for the examination. Once again, they have started renting messes in different areas of old Dhaka.

University students are in a state of panic as all the educational institutions have been closed for more than a year and a half. Asked how the Sejnjat can be reduced, Dr. Chanchal Kumar Bose, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, said, "It is a big deal that our university is taking exams inside Corona." Starting our exams means the university is open. And we don't have any plans for the session. Let's test first and then we will decide on how to reduce the sejnjata.

The physical examination of the students of Jagannath University started from October 8. On Thursday, the long 56-day break came to an end with the semester final examinations of various departments of the university. After almost a year and a half, the JOB campus came back to life.
