International Desk: Malaysia is lifting domestic and international travel bans on those who complete the dose of coronavirus vaccine. The Malaysian government said on Sunday that the decision had been made because the country's goal of vaccinating 90 per cent of adults had already been achieved.

Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yakub says the government has agreed to allow Malaysians who have completed the vaccine dose to travel abroad without permission.

The new decision will take effect from Monday. Ismail Sabri told a news conference that the country's government was now preparing for the coronavirus to enter the 'endemic' stage; Strict lockdown will not be issued again even if the infection increases.

"We have to learn to live with Kovid," he said. Because covid may not be completely eradicated.

About 75 percent of people in Malaysia, a country of 32 million people, have already received the full dose of the coronavirus vaccine; Among them are children aged 12 to 18 years.

The coronavirus epidemic has so far infected more than 2,030,000 people and killed 26,265 in the Southeast Asian country.
