Kabiraj arrested for raping housewife in Rajbari

News Desk: A fake Kabiraj named Abdul Quddus Sheikh (60) has been accused of raping a housewife in Rajbari. The victim lodged a case with the Rajbari police station on Thursday (October 6). After that, the police conducted a raid and arrested the Kabiraj. Kabiraj Quddus is the son of late Nashar Uddin Sheikh of Khankhanapur Madhyapara village in Rajbari Sadar upazila.

The housewife complained that she was taking various treatments for pregnancy. Two months ago, he took medicine from Kabiraj Quddus Sheikh. On the afternoon of August 20, Kabiraj Quddus came to her house and tricked her into an abandoned house next door. She was similarly raped on the afternoon of October 1 and on October 7. On October 7, her husband caught the hypocrite Kabiraj in handcuffs.

Quddus later beat her husband and fled. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Rajbari Police Station Mohammad Shahadat Hossain said members of Rajbari Police Station and Khankhanapur Police Outpost conducted a joint operation and arrested accused Quddus Sheikh. During preliminary interrogation, Quddus confessed to raping the housewife.
