News Desk: Students who have passed the SSC examination of 2019 at Mirpur Government Pragati High School No. 11 in the capital are suffering from duplicate certificate panic. There is panic among the students as they have lost their original certificates from the school.

The students, parents and the headmaster of the school have been arguing over the incident for several days. Parents and students are in a dilemma of belief and disbelief.

According to local sources, the original certificates of 194 students of this institution for SSC examination in 2019 have disappeared from the school. A GD was lodged with the Pallabi police station on March 26 on behalf of the organization.

As mentioned in the GD, the original certificate of SSC examination of 2019 batch was lost from the office room of the school. The matter was not known to anyone except the headmaster and office assistant of the school.

After the recent opening of the school, some students of this batch (2019) picked up certificates from the school. They were surprised to see duplicate writing on one side of the certificate. Parents and students are concerned.

2019 batch students Monir, Riaz, Didar, Anik, Miraj, Abir, Paran, Jisan, Mainuddin, Harun, Mahbub and many others said that they were not told about the duplicate certificate from the school. Bring the certificate home and see the duplicate written on it. Talking to the class teachers of the school about the matter, they said that they did not even know that the certificate was lost from the school. The headmaster also lost the certificate at that time and did not tell them about the incident.

The aggrieved students said that they do not want to take duplicate certificate after 10 years of education. They need the original certificate. They will not be able to get admission in a good place in this certificate.

Some teachers at the school said on condition of anonymity that no one but the headmaster and the office bearers knew about the loss of the certificate. Later, when the incident came to light, many teachers expressed their anger.

Shahriar, the guardian of one of the students, said, "I will let my son take part in the examination for a police constable." But the certificate is duplicate. When I met the headmaster and asked him about it, he did not want to pay attention to me at first. Then asked to meet after 1 week.

He said, "We went to the board with this certificate. The people of the board said that the certificate was not taken from the board as per the rules." We are very scared after hearing this. What will be my son's future?

Rezaul Karim, headmaster of Government Pragati High School, said a GD had been filed in connection with the loss of the certificate. There is nothing to panic about. We have picked up the binocular certificate from the board. An informed tax notice has also been issued in the newspaper. A third party is inciting students.
