In Barisal, 656 newly identified people died with symptoms

News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 756 new patients with corona have been identified in Barisal division. With this, the total number of victims in the department stands at 32,064. At the same time, 9 people died of symptoms in Corona Isolation Ward of Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College (Shebachim) Hospital and 3 people died of Corona in Corona Ward. In the last 24 hours, 11 patients have been diagnosed with corona in the entire Barisal division.

Among the dead in Corona are 2 from Barisal, 2 from Patuakhali, 1 from Bhola, 1 from Pirojpur, 2 from Barguna and 3 from Jhalokati. The total number of deaths in Barisal Division Corona stood at 453 people, said the Divisional Health Director. Basudev Kumar Das.

He said that out of the total 32,074 infected people, 16,636 have recovered so far.

A total of 13,530 people with 275 new cases in Barisal district, 4,129 people with 18 new people in Patuakhali district, 3,515 people with 113 new people in Bhola district, 4,234 people with 24 new people in Pirojpur district and 4,234 people in Barguna district. A total of 2,084 people were affected with 28 new people and a total of 3,902 people with 46 new people in Jhalokati district.

Meanwhile, according to the office of the director of Shebachim Hospital, in the last 24 hours alone, nine people have died of symptoms in the corona isolation ward of Barisal Shebachim Hospital and three in the corona ward. In the isolation ward of Shebachim Hospital alone, 62 people died due to symptoms and in Corona ward, 293 people died due to corona. Of the 72 people who died of the symptoms, 99 had not yet received the Covid test report.

According to the hospital's director's office, 27 people have been admitted to the Corona Isolation Ward and 27 to the Corona Ward in the last 24 hours (Thursday) morning. 301 people are now undergoing treatment in Corona and Isolation Ward. Of these, 18 are undergoing treatment in Corona Ward and 134 in Isolation Ward. A total of 18 corona tests were performed in the RT PCR lab. Of these, 52.75 percent positive identification rate.
