Adolescent girl abducted in Chittagong rescued in Comilla, arrested 1

Chittagong: Khulshi police have arrested a 19-year-old man named Al Amin for abducting a 14-year-old girl for refusing a love proposal.

He was arrested from Kaziyatal area of ​​Muradnagar police station in Comilla around 5:30 am on Tuesday (July 26). At the same time, the abducted girl (14) was rescued.

Al Amin's village home is in Kaziatal area of ​​Muradnagar police station in Comilla. He lived in a rented house in Lalkhan Bazar Pora Colony area of ​​Khulshi police station in Chittagong city.

According to the police, the abducted girl is a resident of Lalkhan Bazar area of ​​Khulshi police station. She is a student of Shaheed Nagar Girls High School in the area. As the school was closed, he used to go to private school in Pora Colony every day. On the way back and forth, the accused Al Amin always offered him love. But the offer was rejected and the girl was abducted on July 25 at around 5 pm on her way home.

The girl's father filed a case with Khulshi police station. Later, with the help of information technology, Al Amin's whereabouts were identified in Comilla district. He was arrested from Muradnagar police station area of ​​Comilla on Tuesday morning. The abducted girl was also rescued at the same time.

Confirming the incident, Khulshi Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Shahinuzzaman said, "The arrested youth named Al Amin has been sent to the court today (Tuesday) showing his arrest in the relevant case."
