Another 143 dengue patients have been admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours

News Desk: Dengue infection is making the eyes red with the deadly coronavirus infection. In the last 24 hours, 143 new patients have been admitted to various hospitals across the country due to dengue, which is the highest number of cases in the country this year. Earlier on Monday (July 26), a record 123 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital.

This information was given in the regular dengue report of the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Tuesday (July 26) afternoon.

It has been said that in the last 24 hours (from 8 am on July 26 to 8 am on July 26), 143 new patients have been admitted to various government and private hospitals in the country. Of these, 142 new recruits have been identified in Dhaka.

According to the report, at present, the total number of patients admitted to various government and private hospitals in the country stands at 509. Of these, 500 people have been admitted in 41 government and private hospitals in Dhaka and 9 people have been admitted in other departments.

So far this year (from January 1 to July 26 today) 1,945 people have been admitted to the hospital. At the same time, 1,433 patients have been discharged from the hospital.

However, so far this year, three deaths from dengue have been referred to the Institute of Pathology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) for review, according to the Department of Health.
