Coronavirus: 14 more deaths in Rajshahi Medical in last 24 hours

News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 14 more people have died in the corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College (RAMEC) Hospital. Of these, six died of corona and eight died of symptoms.

Director of Ramek Hospital Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani confirmed the matter on Monday (July 12th) morning.

He said the dead included five from Rajshahi, four from Natore, one from Pabna, two from Naogaon and two from Chapainawabganj. The families of the deceased have been instructed to bury in accordance with the hygiene rules.

Regarding the admission and transmission of patients, the Ramek director said, "In the last 24 hours, 64 new admissions have been made to Ramek. 56 people have returned home healthy. Ramek has 229 coronaviruses and 26 suspects and symptoms. In the last 24 hours, Ramey had 518 patients against 454 beds.

Regarding corona testing and identification in two Ramek labs, the director said, "In the last 24 hours, the PCR machine of Ramek Hospital has tested 282 samples and received positive corona reports from 63 people." In the PCR machine of the medical college, 384 samples were tested and 103 corona positive reports were received. A total of 558 samples were tested in the two labs. The corona positive results of 18 people. According to the test, the detection rate is 29.63 percent.
