News Desk: Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman. At the same time, the DU VC spoke insultingly to the families of the students. The students alleged that he made the remarks to the agitating students when they went to hand over a memorandum to the vice-chancellor of the university demanding reopening of the dormitory hall and campus of Dhaka University on Thursday (May 26). Asif Mahmud, an agitating student, complained, "We went to Sir with 5 delegates." Sir made us stand like criminals.

He said the students were supposed to be given mobile and financial assistance. But when Ibrahim Nafis asked his brother why he was not given it, he attacked him personally. Students have been protesting on social media demanding the opening of the campus. But Sir referred to the protesters as mentally deranged. He spoke in support of the US Alliance, but said that maintaining some independence was not the answer. He questioned their family education. Which is really insulting. Meanwhile, the university's vice chancellor has denied the matter. Akhtaruzzaman. “That’s why it will be with our children,” he said. We have spoken to them very sincerely. The boys understood our words very sincerely. They are also saying their words very logically. I liked their words.

He added that some of them were chanting various provocative slogans. I told them to keep an eye on these. These are not university education. There can be no family education. Earlier, students gathered at Dhaka University Raju Sculpture around 12 noon and marched from there to the Vice Chancellor's office to hand over a memorandum to the Vice Chancellor
