Thanks to Biden, the President of Egypt

International Desk: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has thanked US President Joe Biden for his help in negotiating a ceasefire in Egypt. "I pay tribute to President Biden for his role," Sisi tweeted. I wish success to the ceasefire initiative in Egypt. Earlier, Biden thanked Egyptian President Sisi for mediating the ceasefire. Biden said Egypt had played a "tough role" in ending the war. Hamas sees the ceasefire as a victory for the Palestinians.

And Israeli political analysts have called the decision an "extreme mistake." The Al-Aqsa Mosque has been under attack for 11 days following clashes between Palestinians and Israeli police. Israel has carried out airstrikes on Palestinian installations in the occupied valley since the night of March 10. The attack killed at least 232 Palestinians, including 75 children. On the other hand, 11 people were killed in the rocket fired by Hamas in Israel.
