Miscreants hacked to death a madrasa student in Gazipur

News Desk: A madrasa student was hacked to death by miscreants in Pirujali Bakcharpara village of Gazipur. Police recovered the bloodied body on Tuesday (March 9) morning and sent it to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

The deceased was identified as Biplob Hossain, 15, son of Babul Hossain of Akandapara village under Pirjali of Joydebpur police station.

Student Biplob of Aljamia Assalafia Madrasa in Rupganj, Narayanganj. The victim's family and police said he came home from the madrassa on holiday three days ago. Biplob went out of the house last night to offer Esha prayers and disappeared. In the morning, half a kilometer away from the house, the locals saw the bloody body inside the bamboo garden and informed the police.

Police recovered the body and sent it to the morgue. Police said that there were bruises on the body of the deceased. Joydebpur Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mamun Aur Rashid said the miscreants hacked him to death with a sharp weapon.

There are marks of injuries on the body of the deceased. The OC also said that legal action is being taken.
