Media briefing on youth employment at local level in Gaibandha

Gaibandha Correspondent: A media briefing on youth employment has been held at the local level on the initiative of the Public Institutional Participation in Democratic Good Governance (Recall-2021) project. The media briefing was organized by SKS Foundation at Gaibandha Zilla Parishad auditorium on Wednesday (March 3). It was attended by 45 people including leaders and journalists of the civil society CBO committee of Fulchhari Upazila.

President of Gaibandha Press Club and Editor of Daily Madhukar KM Rezaul Haque presided over the media briefing. Baharam Khan, Project Coordinator of SKS Foundation presented the report of Fulchhari Upazila by collecting information on social accountability of citizens on youth employment at the local level. Khalilur Rahman, chairman of the district level network formation committee and acting principal of Gaibandha Government College, Fulchhari Upazila Youth Development Officer Tajul Islam Alberuni, journalist Abedur Rahman Swapan, Abdus Chatter, Modachcheruzzaman Milu, SM Biplob Islam, Aminul Haque, Shah Alam Jadu spoke on the occasion. , Teacher Abdus Salam, Abida Sultana, CBA leader Belal Hossain, and others. It makes some recommendations for sustainable development of the Government of Bangladesh to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) declared by the United Nations and for better access to youth employment services for rural socio-economic development in order to increase youth employment to establish a non-discriminatory society.
