News Desk: The new curriculum will not have science, humanities and commerce departments in the ninth and tenth classes, it will be an integrated curriculum. It will be effective in 2022. Education Minister said in Parliament. Dipu Moni.

The Education Minister made the remarks while addressing the 10th (Special on the occasion of Mujib Year) session of the Eleventh National Assembly on Thursday night (November 19).

Dipu Moni said, you know that our curriculum is being fully reviewed. I will release the final version very soon. But in all our types of education, science, humanities, business, these departments are no longer in the ninth-tenth grade. All students will complete 10 years of school with all types of education.

He said the new curriculum was being developed on the basis of the spirit of the liberation war.

He further said that the history of Bangladesh, our history and culture will be the main preoccupation, tackling the challenges of our 21st century, tackling the fourth industrial revolution, achieving the goals of SDGs will be the curriculum to build the golden people that Bangabandhu wanted.
