Hasan Jabed from Brahmanbaria: In Brahmanbaria Ashuganj, his wife Kuhinur Khanam Nitu (30) was slaughtered and killed by her husband Md. Jewel Mia (32). On Thursday (November 19) morning, the loose house next to Anu Sardar's house in Charchartala area of ​​the upazila Police have recovered the body of the deceased from Abu Chan Mia's house.

The deceased was identified as Kuhinur, daughter of Abul Hossain Miah of the same area. Jewel, the victim's husband, has been on the run since the incident. Police have arrested five members of Jewel's family for questioning in the incident. The arrested are Jewel's father Abu Chan Mia (6), mother Rahima Begum (55), elder brother's wife Tania Begum (29), younger brother Kamrul Islam (28) and Kamrul's wife Argina Begum (24). According to police and local sources, Kuhinur and Jewel got married in a love affair about six months ago. This is their second marriage.

The relationship between the two has never deteriorated since the marriage. After the marriage, both the families accepted their marriage. However, Jewel used to take yaba every day. In the meantime, Jewel opened a workshop and started running a business. Two months ago, Jewel asked Kuhinur for a dowry of Tk 2 lakh to re-invest in the workshop. However, Kuhinu said he was unable to pay. But there was no problem between the two of them. On Wednesday evening, he grew up next to Kuhinu and came to visit his family.

Kuhinur was hacked to death by Jewel Boti Da in the middle of the night on Wednesday and escaped after covering his body with a blanket. Family members saw him at night and informed the police. Police reached the spot and detained five members of Boti, Da and Jewel's family for questioning. Kuhinur's father said. Abul Hossain said that Kuhinur also met him on Wednesday night. However, he did not report any problems at that time. He wants justice for the killer of his daughter Kuhinu. Sub-Inspector (SI) of Ashuganj Police Station Srivas Chandra Biswas said, "After receiving the news of the murder, we reached the spot and recovered the bloody body of the deceased."

The body has been sent to the morgue of District Sadar Hospital for autopsy. A blood-stained pot was recovered from the side of the body. Five members of the family have been detained for questioning. Attempts are being made to arrest Kuhinur's murderous husband Jewel. Further legal action will be taken if the family receives a complaint.
