Thakurgaon correspondent: A young man was making a freedom fighter allowance with his mother by making his uncle a father and making a national identity card. Although the matter has not been caught so far, the matter came to light while trying to amend the national identity card of the brothers.

The incident took place at the Thakurgaon District Election Officer's Office on Sunday (November 1) evening after a mobile court sentenced the youth to three months in jail for misleading the state by presenting false information. The mobile court was conducted by Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Abdullah-al-Mamun. The convicted youth's name is Jagendra Nath Barman (33). He is the son of Dhanicharan Barman of Uttar Bathina village in Rajagaon union of Sadar upazila. It is learned that Jagendra Nath Barman, son of Dhanicharan Barman of Uttar Bathina village in Rajagaon union of Sadar upazila, has been using the name of his uncle Bir Dhirendra Nath Barman in place of his birth father to get government benefits as a family.

Not only that, Muktijoddha had been collecting allowances for a long time with his mother. Of the four brothers, his younger brother used the name of his uncle Dhirendra Nath instead of his father's name in the SSC registration, so he did not need to amend it again. Everything went according to plan, but in the process of correcting the names of the two brothers in the middle. The matter came to the notice of District Election Officer Jilhaj Uddin while he was correcting his national identity card with fake information of his brothers at Thakurgaon District Election Office today. He later verified that the informant was presenting false information, which he immediately informed Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abdullah-al-Mamun, and on his advice arrested the youth who provided false information at the district election office.

Later, the Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer went to the district election office with the police and interrogated the arrested youth Jagendra Nath Barman. He confessed to the crime. At that time, Sadar UNO sentenced him to 3 months imprisonment for presenting false information by disobeying government instructions by setting up a mobile court there. Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abdullah-al-Mamun said a young man named Jagendra Nath Barman has been sentenced to three months imprisonment for using his father's name to change his father's name to get government benefits. Later, according to the report of the Election Office, necessary legal action will be taken regarding the freedom fighter allowance of his family.
