Police Pay Tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his Birth Anniversary in Kurigram

Kurigram Correspondent: Humble tribute of District Police on the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the great architect of freedom in Kurigram. On the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the great architect of freedom, the great hero of the liberation of the Bengali nation, the founder of our nation state, the father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, on the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary and National Children's Day 2024, the District Police, Kurigram paid a humble tribute from the bottom of the heart to the people of Kurigram district. Superintendent of Police Mr. Al Asad Md. Mahfuzul Islam and all the officers.

First, Md Hamidul Haque Khandkar, Member of Parliament of Kurigram-2 Constituency and Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saidul Arif paid their respects to the Father of the Nation. District Awami League President Md. Zafar Ali, General Secretary and Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Aman Uddin Manju, Municipal Mayor Kajiul Islam, learned PPSM Abraham Lincoln, brave freedom fighters, political leaders of all levels, heads of various offices, journalists from schools and colleges also paid their respects. Citizens of all levels of Kurigram including students and individuals working in public and private institutions.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Md. Ruhul Amin, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Md. Sajjad Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police of Kurigram circle A. K. M. Ohidunnabi and other members of the district police. After paying tributes, special prayers were offered for all the martyrs of the freedom struggle including the Father of the Nation and all the martyrs of the Father of the Nation's family on August 15.

Besides, the circle officer and officer in-charge of all the police stations of Kurigram district paid humble respect to the father of the nation in their respective police station areas. Also, on the occasion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 104th birth anniversary and National Children's Day 2024, a discussion meeting was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner. On the occasion of National Children's Day 2024, the guests gave prizes for various competitions in the discussion meeting.
