Satkania Representative: Advanced treatment for heart attacks has become city-centric. At the district-upazila level, the people suffering from this disease are not getting better treatment. Marginal patients are deprived of essential services. They have little idea about the disease and are not aware of it.

In this context, on Friday (March 8th) from 9 am to 4 pm, 120 patients with heart disease were provided at Dhemsha High School in Satkania upazila through a free medical camp organized by Chittagong Heart Foundation. Satkania Upazila Executive Officer Milton Biswas was present as the chief guest in the program presided over by School Governing Body President Abu Sufian.

The program's inaugural professor Dr. Praveer Kumar Das said, every student should study, play sports, practice music, and stay drug free. Drug intake starts from school life, so the time should be spent properly. This must be smoke free by all means.

Satkania Upazila Executive Officer Milton Biswas said, I will request the students to educate themselves in science and technology moral education and develop themselves as human resources. Along with studies you have to build your body. You have to contribute to establish a drug free society. That is between school-based heart disease prevention programs and public awareness. To keep youth and student society away from drugs, one playground is being constructed in each union of Satkania upazila.

Professor Dr. was present at the time. Md. Anwarul Haque Chowdhury, Professor Dr. Md. Abu Tarek Iqbal, nutritionist Hasina Akhter, Chittagong South District Awami League publicity secretary Nurul Abshar Chowdhury, Dr. A. K. M. Nasir Uddin, Dr. Ujjal Chakraborty, Dr. Prabal Chakraborty, Dr. Saif Uddin Azad, Dayal Hari Majumder, Headmaster of Dhemsha High School, all teachers and students of the school, and local UP member Ramzan Ali.
