Fielding Tigers won the toss, Afghan forces lost 3 wickets under pressure

Sports Desk:  Bangladesh got a chance in the second over. Rahmanullah Gurbaz bowled Taskin Ahmed's ball. However, Rony Talukder could not hold the reverse catch even by palming it. The wicket fell in the third over. Nasum returned to Hazratullah Jazai. Taskin returned Gurbaz in the next over.

In the first T20, the Afghans did not get off to a good start by batting first. Jazai hits a six off the first ball of the third over. Couldn't say the next one. He took a catch in the hands of Tauhid Hriday and departed for 8 runs. On the fifth ball of the next over, Gurbaz was caught in the palm of Mehdi Hasan Miraj as he bowled Taskin's ball. He departed after scoring 16 runs off 11 balls.  

Ibrahim Zadran, who came down to bat at three, departed as did Zazai. Hankan hits a six off the third ball of the fifth over. Shariful Islam took a catch behind the wicket on the next ball. This Afghan batsman returned to Sajghar after scoring 8 runs.  

As of writing this report, after 5 overs, the Afghans have lost 3 wickets and collected 37 runs.  

Earlier, hosts Bangladesh faced Afghanistan in the first of the two-match T20I series. Tiger captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and chose to field.
